BRUNO PACKS for our loyal K-9 troops.
"Chicago
Bruno Packs": Packs for local shelters. In memory of our pug and terrier - Cibo and Gizmo, we are also donating local "Bruno Packs" to shelters in need
of supplies and support. These mini-packs or "Pughugs" support the wonderful work of no-kill shelters. Expand your family. Adopt a special friend.
A Very Special Thank You To our Friends who have made a difference. So far, we have sent 179 care packages.
Good dog. They give us unconditional love and undying loyalty. They
protect, amuse and bond with us. Dogs play special roles in life. Service dogs improve our lives and preserve our lives. And
there are those special K-9s that serve along side our soliders who will give their lives to save another.

Bruno Packs is a donation program that provides snacks, treats, toys, and goods to K-9 units
abroad because they have limited access to everyday items. Through Bruno Packs, just a little gesture can help support to
our troops. K-9 units' conditions vary, but they welcome all types of packages, whether it be snacks, dog toys, or a simple
letter, it does brighten their days to hear from home.
Bruno Packs sends care packages to K-9 units in a variety
of regions. Our goal is to keep a running list of requests on this site so that you can see what our troops would love to
have. You can simply donate a bag of treats or a dog brush, or whatever you could provide, and we will gladly pack and ship
to these brave teams abroad. We will guarantee your letter will be included (if you wish), as we want to ensure your kindness
is known by the handlers and dogs. Though ideally we'd like our troops and K-9s to be home, we want to continue sending comfort
until that happens. And with your help, we can.
JOIN THE PACK To contribute goods or if you
want to sponsor a BRUNO PACK, please contact Michael Kaplan or Cindy Kaplan.
Military Organizations If you are interested in contacting organizations on your own, we
enthusiastically encourage you to seek out these three sites, which provide a great deal of ways to support our troops
and pups! You can also 'adopt' a unit through some of these organizations.

ADOPTION The Department of Defense is now making Military Working Dogs that are no longer capable of performing their
military duties available for adoption.
CHICAGO ADOPTIONS Visit our local shelters to get the best friend you will ever have. So
many dogs in Chicago have so much love to give, why not expand your family?

K-9 Handler, Iraq "I definitely appreciated
the care and thought you put into them and shared them with other people that I live with. I took a photo with one of the

the photo on the box."

support!! It is not so much that you send things or what you send. It is just knowing that folks in the US appreciate the
efforts of the Soldiers and dogs over here. These dogs are so important to us here. They basically have the mission of keeping
us safe. They make sure someone doesn’t put a bomb in our dining facility or infiltrate our bases."
